Media and entertainment powerhouse ZE Entertainment Enterprise Limited (ZE) Today, in line with the national level CSR drive against Covid-19, 20 ambulances and 4000 PPE kits were officially handed over to the state of Telangana in the presence of Mr. KT. Rao Rao, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Industries and IT and Commerce, will further strengthen his fight against Kovid-19.
In support of health care relief and beyond, the company takes advantage of a partnership with the Akshay Patra Foundation to provide daily meals to migrants and wage earners across the state.
The company has used the approved CSR budget (for the fight against Kovid-19) to provide the following requirements to the state of Telangana.
- Ambulance – 20 ambulances were donated to the state.
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Kits – 4,000 kits donated to the state.
- Daily meals – Migrants and daily wage earners are provided daily meals.
Speaking on this initiative, Mr. Punit Goenka, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Z.E. Said, "ZW is committed to providing strong health to the Telangana government in the fight against Kovid-19, with a major focus on strengthening the overall healthcare structure as a whole. We sincerely hope that the donated healthcare needs will help address the challenges facing the state due to the ongoing epidemic and strengthen its overall healthcare ecosystem. ”

In its national CSR drive to enhance the country's healthcare infrastructure against Covid-19, ZEA pledged to donate 240+ ambulances, 46,000+ PPE kits, 90+ oxygen humidifiers and 600,000 daily meals. The donation to the state of Telangana is in line with this national level CSR drive.
Nationally, ZEA has also financed more than 5,000 daily wage earners working directly or indirectly with the company. Next, 3400+ employees have contributed to the PM Cares Fund. The amount generated was matched by ZEE, and the collective earnings were donated to the PM Care Fund.
As a responsible media and entertainment player, ZE has continued to take the necessary steps to intensify its fight against Covid-19.
