'DuckTales' Season 3 Episode 2 Recap

Episode 2, titled 'Quack Pack' shows Donald, his nephews, Della and Scrooge, trying to defeat FoWL. Surprisingly, in the process, they get stuck in a sitcom. The nephews present some dialogue in the standard slapsticks format of the cheap sitcom show. At the time this is happening, Donald has a deflector for the shoot there. While the others go on jokes one after the other, Donald goes deep into condemnation. He wants his family to have family problems instead of complicated adventures.

The whole episode is doubled when Donald wants something that hurts him more than he pleases. Donald's intelligent yet worried mind goes to the end of the lake, Goofy advises Donald that it's a family that counts more than the 'where' of circumstances. Either way, it's a dig at the caddy of sitcoms that can be quite superficial. Stupid begs Donald not to put on a show for the sake of the other. Dela's frustration with Donald is obvious but to no avail. Donald's love for his family makes him wish things were back to normal. As Donald says, his ultimate wish is for his family-framed photo, 'His Quack Pack.'
